This policy explains what information Central Baptist Church Palm Coast collects when you visit our website, why we collect it, and how we use it. We aim to be plain-spoken; if anything here isn’t clear, email us at hello@cbcpalmcoast.com and we’ll explain.
What we collect
When you fill out one of our forms (Plan a Visit, Contact, Prayer Request), we collect the information you provide: typically your name, email address, phone number (if you give us one), prayer or visit details, and the date you submitted. We do not collect anything unless you actively fill out a form and submit it.
Like nearly every website on the internet, our hosting provider also automatically logs basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, and the pages you viewed. This is used to keep the site running and secure; we do not link it to your personal identity.
How we use it
Form submissions are used solely to respond to you and to prepare for your visit. Plan a Visit submissions are shared internally with our pastor and usher team so we can welcome you on Sunday. Prayer requests are handled according to the privacy preference you select on the form (pastor only, prayer team, or whole church).
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information with anyone. We do not use it for marketing. We will not add you to any email list unless you explicitly ask us to.
Who can see your information
Form submissions are stored in our website’s database and are accessible only to the church’s authorized administrators. Our website is hosted by Hostinger, which provides secure infrastructure but does not access the content of our forms.
If we use SMS to alert our pastor or ushers about visitor submissions, the SMS is sent through Twilio, a U.S.-based communications platform. Twilio processes the message but does not retain its content for any purpose other than delivery.
Cookies
Our website uses small files called “cookies” to remember things like whether you’ve logged in (if you’re a church staff member) or to keep the site loading quickly. We don’t use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or anything that follows you to other websites.
How long we keep your information
Form submissions are kept indefinitely so we have a record of who’s been in touch. If you want us to delete your information, just email hello@cbcpalmcoast.com and we’ll remove it within 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, request a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@cbcpalmcoast.com and we’ll respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy meaningfully, we’ll update the “Effective” date at the top and post the updated version here. We won’t notify you individually about routine wording updates.
